Listen to The Contortionist’s Super-Melodic New Song, “Reimagined”

  • Axl Rosenberg

“Reimagined,” the new single from The Contortionist, may surprise you. The band has never shied away from spacey melodies, but “Reimagined” takes things a step further; it’s decidedly less proggy and more straightforward than the material for which the band is best known. I’m hesitant to call it a “radio song,” because that term has such negative connotations in the metal world… but it’s definitely a song which could be on the radio.

Which isn’t a bad thing. I think “Reimagined” is great! But I’m the dude who liked the new Suicide Silence album, so what the hell do I know?

Check out “Reimagined” below and see if you dig it. The song will appear on The Contortionist’s new album, Clairvoyant, which comes out September 15 on Good Fight. You can pre-order it here. The band hits the road with BTBAM a week later! Get dates here.
