Meet Info Wars, a Grind Band Dedicated to Alex Jones

Some in the metal community have chosen to combat conservative conspiracy theorist Alex Jones by throwing coffee in his face.

Now others have chosen another way: a good old fashioned grind EP!

We don’t know much about the mysterious folks behind the band named Info Wars — whose new and only EP, The Answer to 1984 is 1776, came out, appropriately enough, on September 11th — other than that one member’s name is Joshua (the 72nd most popular name in the U.S., according to HowManyOfMe.com). But this we do know: it’s an instant classic. In true grind fashion, five of the EP’s nine tracks clock in at 19 seconds or less, and sound samples of Alex Jones spouting his vitriolic nonsense — alongside other politicians — are featured prominently. The music is fast, furious and nasty. In other words: it’s great!
