Metallica Reissuing Remastered The $5.98 EP – Garage Days Re-Revisited

Metallica, you may have noticed, have been reissuing all their old shit since launching their own label, Blackened, back in 2012. Next up on the to-remaster list: The $5.98 EP – Garage Days Re-Revisited, the 1987 covers EP that was the band’s first release following the death of Cliff Burton.

While the EP has been remastered, it’s not getting the super-duper-extra-special deluxe treatment ‘Tallica have given records like Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets. I assume because, uh… like, what the crap could you really add to a five-song covers EP?
