At this point, it’s safe to say that The Body are humanoid robots with unlimited potential to crank out new material. This time, they’ve joined up with the New York City duo Uniform, who suppprted The Body on tour in 2017, to bring us a heaping pile of chaos that I think is best represented visually:

That’s the most accurate summary I can give of Mental Wounds Not Healing, which was released on Bandcamp this afternoon. This round of Chip King’s wailing on top of a lot of nasty synths and other indistinguishable sounds makes up for the confusing almost-disappointment that was I’ve Fought Against It, And I Can’t Any LongerThe third track, “Come and See,” is in the player below.
