Decibel’s Metal & Beer Fest Coming to L.A. with Testament, Triptykon, Pig Destroyer, Yob, and More

Having successfully gotten the Philly metal community drunk n’ deaf two years in a row, Decibel have now announced plans to bring their Metal & Beer Festival to the Worst Coast. West Coast. Sorry. That should have said West Coast.

ANYWAY, in addition to offering festival goers the chance to drown in delicious, delicious beer from some badass breweries, the event will offer up a siqqqqqq two-day line-up. The headliners will be Testament, playing both The New Order and The Gathering in their entireties, and Triptykon, exclusive playing Celtic Frost songs. As if that wasn’t mouth-watering enough, Pig Destroyer, Yob, Power Trip, Skeletal Remains, Necrot, and Haunt… and even MORE bands will be announced in mid-July. Just try not to get so hammered you don’t remember any of it.

The fest will take place Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2, at the Wiltern. Special discounted early-bird weekend “Metal & Beer” tickets, entitling attendees to pours from each of the attending breweries all weekend long, go on sale Friday, June 29 at 9AM PST.
