Stephen Colbert Bought Flaw a $15,000 Van

0

Back in March, late night TV host Stephen Colbert gave early ’00s nu-metal band Flaw the most press they’d had in years when he featured their crowdfunding campaign for a new van in a comedic segment about Trump’s proposed Mexican border wall. The bit has become a running joke on the show in the months since, because making fun of floundering nu-metal bands way past their prime is never not funny.

Despite all that the band failed to reach their goal, so Colbert stepped in by buying the band a top-notch $15,000 fartbox and inviting them onto the show to celebrate. Colbert is a comedic genius and the guys in the band were all great sports, so unsurprisingly the bit is hilarious. Watch below, and dream about all the upcoming tours with Systematic and Pressure 4-5 this new window-less vehicle will enable Flaw to take.
