Queensrÿche Release New Power Ballad “Dark Reverie”

Hey, remember when “Silent Lucidity” was a really big hit? Gee willikers, that was neat.

I mention it because Queensrÿche have debuted a new song, “Dark Reverie,” which sounds like it was recorded in 1989. I don’t think I’d even know that it was Todd La Torre and not Geoff Tate singing if I hadn’t been told. That’s kind of impressive. They’d be the best band on Frontiers if they weren’t on Century Media.

You can check out “Dark Reverie” via the below lyric video. The track will appear on the band’s upcoming fifteenth (!!!) full-length studio effort, The Verdict, which comes out March 1, and which I’m really, really hoping is a concept album based on the 1982 movie of the same name. Great flick.
