Video of James Hetfield Rocking Out to Slayer’s “Angel of Death” in the Car is Priceless

Need something Metallica-related to cleanse your palette after that abominable cover of Iron Maiden’s “Killers” by Kirk Hammett and Rob Trujillo? Good, because we’ve got something fun for ya: a self-filmed video of James Hetfield rocking out to Slayer’s “Angel of Death” in the car! Clearly Papa Het was in the moment, and what’s more, he even provided some of his own vocals, adding a patented “haha!” after the chorus and an “oooogh!” just as the half-time riff hits. Perfect.

Of course, we already know that Jaymz is quite the skilled car vocalist, having posted a similar video of himself singing along with Motorhead’s “Ace of Spades” last month and guesting with the full band on Billy Eichner’s Carpool Karaoke show a couple years back, but I’m tickled by the knowledge that he does this sort of thing on the regs.
