Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin to Perform Live Score to Dario Argento’s Deep Red at Special ShowLast year MetalSucks teamed up with Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin to present a very special tour at which the band performed the score for Dario Argento’s 1977 horror classic Suspiria during a full screening of the film. Simonetti’s instantly-memorable music was an indelibly crucial part of the film, and hearing it live together with Argento’s visual masterpiece made for a truly special experience.

Master composer Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin returns once again to North America to delight us all, performing the live score to Dario Argento’s legendary horror classic, “Deep Red” during a screening of the film. The second installment of the show will be maestro Claudio’s Goblin doing an additional set of classic Goblin material as well as some cuts off their new releases. Tone Deaf Touring, Dread Central, MetalSucks, Freeman Promotions, Bowery Presents and The Playstation Theater present this very special performance on September 20th at New York’s Playstation Theater. Grab your tickets here on sale Friday, July 12th at 12pm noon and join us for the event.

We hear there are more of these shows in the works for other cities, so if you’re nowhere near New York, just be patient :)
