Illyrian Release Energetic New Single, “Amanar Rising”

Canadian metal has really been coming for us lately, with bands such as Wormwitch, Tomb Mold, and Archspire giving me yet another reason to believe I should just book it to Canada once and for all. Illyrian, a three-piece metal band hailing from the great land of Calgary, are making their mark on the Canadian metal scene with the release of their newest single, “Amanar Rising.”

The single fuses elements of death, thrash, and melodic metal effortlessly and with beautiful execution, providing us with a lovely display of energetic and pit-worthy modern metal fueled by thrash riffage that meshes well with the ear-seducing melodic compositions.

“Amanar Rising” is taken off Illyrian’s upcoming album The Entity, Unknown, which is set for release on July 26th and is available for pre-order here. In the meantime, give their single a listen below.
