Uneven Structure Release Heavy-Hitting New Song, “Innocent”

French progressive metallers Uneven Structure have just released a new single, “Innocent,” along with a visually stunning video to accompany its release.

And this shit is gooood! The song is a heavy hitter, incorporating polyrhythmic passages, otherworldly ambient soundscapes, and chunky riffs that’ll give Gojira a run for their money. The video follows the story of a little boy growing up in an unstable household who escapes his reality through comic books, and the song hits home just right in all the feels.

The track is the first single release from Uneven Structure’s upcoming album, Paragon. If the rest of the record sounds like this, it’s looking to be a heavier and worthy predecessor to their 2017 album, La Partition, so yes, more of this, please!

Paragon will be released on October 18 via Long Branch Records. Listen to “Innocent” below, and then pre-order the album here.
