Here’s Lars Ulrich Drumming for Mumford & Sons

  • Axl Rosenberg

Lars Ulrich joined the British folk-rock act Mumford & Sons at this past weekend’s Austin City Limits for a rendition of their song “The Wolf.” I’m sure this will enrage a certain type of Metallica fan, but I dunno why; Mumford & Sons are inoffensive at worst. It’s not like he was up there jamming with some truly gross affront to the art of music, like Ed Shitan or whoever.

Said Lars of the experience:

“So fucking cool to share the stage with Mumford & Sons and bash away on their awesome song The Wolf at ACL last night.

“Thank you for encouraging me to come up and fuckin rock with you…. Fun times fellas!”
