Tombs Announce New Album Monarchy of Shadows, Stream Title Track

Brooklyn black metallers Tombs are back! The band has announced a February 28 release date for their new album, Monarchy of Shadows. By the time it arrives, it will have been nearly three years since the release of their last album, The Grand Annihilation.

Fortunately, the title track from Monarchy of Shadows suggests the wait will have been worth it. This song will make you know how it must feel to be cooked alive and reduced to a disgusting black crust which is just gonna be scraped off the grill and swept into the trash. You can get the same feeling from spending twenty minutes in a room with Frankie Palmeri, but the Tombs song is far more pleasant.
