Periphery Guitarist Mark Holcomb to Sit Out 2020 Tour

Major bummer: the unspecified “family matter” which prevented Periphery guitarist Mark Holcomb from participating in the band’s recent tour of the UK and the Netherlands appears to be an ongoing issue. The band has just announced that Holcomb will also be sitting out their upcoming tour with Plini and Covet. That tour doesn’t even begin for another six weeks, meaning Holcomb anticipates he’ll still be tending to this matter a month-and-a-half from now. That sounds potentially very intense and unpleasant. Our hearts go out to the guy.

Says the band:

“Regarding the HAIL STAN 2020 US Tour: We’re sorry to report that Mark is still unavailable to tour and will not be part of the US dates happening In January and February. We continue to support Mark and his decision, and we look forward to having him back on the road with us soon.”
