Alter Bridge Announce Tour with Black Stone Cherry and Saint Asonia
As loud as I’ve been shouting from the pointy spired rooftop of The MetalSucks Mansion for years that Alter Bridge are friggin’ great, a national treasure that metalheads ought to appreciate despite the fact that the band plays hard rock, I’ve somehow yet to catch the band live. It’s just one of those things where I’ve always got a conflict or I’m out of town whenever they roll through.
And I’m sad to report that trend will most likely continue on their recently announced tour with Black Stone Cherry and Saint Asonia. It’s not that I don’t like either of those bands (which I don’t), but the Long Island and New Jersey venues the tour hits are both mentally far from Brooklyn, even if they’re only an hour’s drive. New Yorker mentality, if I can’t get there on the subway = I’m probably not going. I’m a lazy piece of shit fan… sorry! Much love to Myles and Mark, though.
