Video: Metallica’s James Hetfield Performs for the First Time Since Entering Rehab

0

Metallica’s James Hetfield appeared at “A Star-Studded Tribute To Eddie Money” in Beverly Hills, CA, last night (February 20), where he reminisced about his friendship with Eddie and performed an acoustic version of Money’s classic “Baby Hold On.” You can watch fan-filmed video below. Hetfield certainly looks and sounds excellent, which is great to see.

This was Hetfield’s second public appearance since re-entering rehab last year, following his attendance at the January 30 opening night celebration of Reclaimed Rust: The James Hetfield Collection at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles… but it’s the first time he’s performed for an audience since that visit to rehab.

Metallica will tour South America this spring followed by a series of festival appearances in the U.S. throughout the year; all dates and tickets here.
