Three-Quarters of Stormtroopers of Death Reunite Online to Perform “Chromatic Death”

The coronavirus may have us all isolated at home and devoid of human contact, but I’ve heard plenty of stories of old friends reconnecting over Zoom, Google Hangouts, text message and the good ol’ telephone. Silver linings, right?

One such silver lining brought together three-quarters of the legendary crossover thrash outfit Stormtroopers of Death. In a video posted to YouTube and Scott Ian’s Instagram, Ian, Charlie Benante and Dan Lilker appear in a comped-together clip performing “Chromatic Death” from their 1985 debut, Speak English or Die. Missing, of course, is vocalist Billy Milano, but that dude is out of the public eye these days so it’d be more surprising if he were actually in the video than not. Plus this cut doesn’t have much in the same of vocals anyway, handled ably here by Ian and Lilker.

Have a look below, along with a special surprise at the end!
