Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Poison, Etc. Finally Move Summer Stadium Tour to 2021

  • Axl Rosenberg

As promised, today Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard have finally revealed the status of their summer stadium tour with Poison, Joan Jett, and that other guy no one is coming to see… and, as everyone has been predicting for nearly two months now, the tour has indeed been delayed until the summer of 2021.

Here’s the official press statement from the bands:

“We wanted to continue to communicate with our fans and update you with valid information as it becomes available. The official decision has been made to move all 2020 North American Stadium Tour dates into the summer of 2021. The new stadium dates are being rescheduled, your tickets will be honored for all postponed shows and  refund policy information will be made available shortly. Stay tuned, be safe and we will see you next year.”

I’m glad this announcement has FINALLY been made… but I remain confused as to why it took so long. Over the past few weeks, a number of big bands called off their tours, even if they were scheduled to begin weeks after this one. I just don’t know what the hold up was here.

ANYWAY, we’ll let you know when the rescheduled dates are announced.
