To the surprise of no one, the entire world is re-listening to Van Halen music while mourning the recent loss of Eddie Van Halen. This has naturally lead to a lot of re-evaluating of Van Halen’s catalog (and sometimes a greater appreciation of their deep cuts).

So now, with Van Halen done forever and the band’s output fresh in listeners’ minds, it seems like a good time to ask you, our beloved readers: which of Van Halen’s twelve studio albums is your favorite?

Cast your vote below! The band’s first six albums, which all featured singer David Lee Roth, are the clear front runners… although there could certainly be a Van Hagar upset, given that it was this version of the band who famously sold more records.
