Tool Win Billboard Music Awards Honors, Metallica and Slipknot Snubbed

The 2020 Billboard Music Awards took place in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday, October 14 — rescheduled from April due to the pandemic — and some notable metal and hard rock acts were among the nominees and winners. Most notably, Tool won the “Top Rock Album” category for Fear Inoculum, while Metallica were nominated in two categories and Slipknot in one but neither picked up any wins.
