Internal Bleeding Release Pulverizing New Song “Overthrow Creation”

Okay so now I’m really starting to think I’m psychic: not only was I listening to the Guns N’ Roses song “Silkworms” right as the band was debuting a rejiggered version of that song, “Absurd,” in another city hundreds of miles away… but I was explaining to someone that there’s a metal band called Internal Bleeding at roughly the same time said metal band called Internal Bleeding was premiering a new track, “Overthrow Creation,” online. Tonight I’m gonna brag to a friend that I’m a billionaire now and then check my bank account in the morning. If you never hear from me again after today, you’ll know it worked.

ANYWAY, about Internal Bleeding’s “Overthrow Creation” — to say this song bops would be an understatement. It clubs. Like, if you told me the song could actually cause literal internal bleeding, I’d buy it.

Internal Bleeding guitarist Chris Pervelis says of the track:

“For close to 30 years, we’ve tried to expand our sound without losing the core of who we are, and with ‘Overthrow Creation,’ I think we’ve achieved the ideal balance we’ve been striving towards. The song hits you hard as hell, but there are also moments of nuance and melody that keep things interesting.”

Adds new vocalist Steve Worley, who makes his recording debut with the band on “Overthrow Creation”:

“I pushed in a few different directions with this one, and I hope it does justice to both the song and our fans. I can’t wait to lay down tracks for the next album.”
