Photo: Ben Affleck Spotted Wearing Boston Hardcore T-Shirt

Movie star Ben Affleck accidentally broke the metal internet last year when he was spotted wearing a shirt from Bridge Nine Records, the hardcore label that is, like Mr. Affleck, from the Boston area (the label has released albums by such illustrious bands as Agnostic Front, Sick of It All, and Terror, to name but a few.)

Now he’s at it again: according to TMZ, Affleck and his girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, were spotted taking their children — his kids, Seraphina and Sam, and her daughter, Emme — to see the new Paul Thomas Anderson movie, Licorice Pizza.

And while the paparazzi-snapped photos made their rounds in the usual mainstream tabloids, it was the Instagram account True Till Death Straight Edge who noticed that Affleck was wearing a Have Heart shirt, a band in the Bridge Nine family. “Boston straight edge,” the shirt reads, under the band’s name with an eagle inside a circle.

Is Affleck a fan of Have Heart? Is he straight edge? Both are unlikely — although you never know — but he certainly likes repping his Boston brethren, that’s for sure.
