Steve Vai Postpones Tour Due to Another Surgery

0

Guitar legend Steve Vai has been forced to postpone his planned tour of North America until the fall. The run had been set to begin later this month.

A press release explains that Vai had surgery on one of his shoulders approximately a year ago, and while that operation was successful, “a new injury” to an unspecified part of the body now requires surgery. The press copy makes no mention of the finger surgery Vai underwent in 2021.

Vai shares, “I’m gutted that we have to move this tour, but I also know it’s in the best interests for us and the fans that we do.”
