Vital Remains Frontman Scott Eames Joins Nile for Upcoming Tour, Brian Kingsland to Sit Out

0

Fans of death metal Egyptologists Nile have a good-news-bad-news-good-news situation coming their way. Good news: guitarist-vocalist Brian Kingsland just had a son! Congrats, Brian! Bad news: that means he’ll be sitting out of the band’s upcoming tour! Boo, bummer! But, good news: the band have found a replacement in Vital Remains frontman Scott Eames! Hooray!

Here’s Nile’s statement:

Congratulations to Brian Kingsland on the arrival of his newborn son! While Brian takes time for family, veteran metal guitarist Scott Eames will be joining us on Guitar and Vocals. Scott is an exceptionally talented motherfucker who has worked his ass off and earned his spot on stage with Nile. The band is as strong as ever and we are primed and ready to bring Metal to the fans on our upcoming tour starting in Nashville, TN on February 3rd! See you on the road! \m/

So, overall, all’s well that ends well, right? I mean, it’s a bummer that Kingsland will sit out the tour, but Eames is as good a replacement as they could ever have, and we’re stoked to see them none the less! Meanwhile, congrats to Scott!
