Ozzy to Drop New Single “Patient Number 9” on Friday

0

Only last week, we were writing about how metal’s Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne was recovering well from surgery. Now, it appears as though Ozzy is ready to bounce back hard, as he’s announced that he’ll be dropping a new single this Friday.

According to a post on Ozzy’s Instagram, Osbourne will drop his new song “Patient Number 9” on Friday. Not only that, but he’s tagged legendary Spawn artist and Venom creator Todd McFarlane, suggesting that it’ll be an animated video with McFarlane’s involvement. Which is pretty damn cool.

This is ostensibly the first single from Ozzy’s new Andrew Watt-produced album, which, according to Ozzy’s wife and manager Sharon, will be out this September:

“He’s finished another album which is coming out in September. And there we are. He’s busy in the studio. He still does all his writing and singing, and it keeps him really happy. He’ll never stop singing and writing. We’ve built him a big studio here, so he can do it all at home. And he can’t wait to come back, to be honest with you.”

Check out the post below and get stoked. Meanwhile, the following dates on Ozzy’s farewell tour are still on schedule:
