Video: Slipknot’s Sid Wilson Turned His Old Mask Into an Animatronic Puppet That Sings Along With The Band

0

With the announcement of their new album The End, So Far, nine-headed Iowan sex brawl Slipknot also revealed the various band members’ new masks, which we then ranked as is our snarky wont. Coming in dead last was DJ Sid Wilson, whose new mask felt especially wack to us because his old mask was so creepy and cool. Thankfully, it now looks like Sid hasn’t done away with his old mask — he’s just turned it into a puppet that sings along at Slipknot shows.

As you’ll see in the video below, Sid’s mask now rests at the front of his DJ table, and mouths along to the band’s music. It’s an incredibly unsettling accompaniment to Wilson’s current set-up, even if his mask still looks like some bad Star Wars tribute. Oh, you didn’t know that I fucking hate on some Star Wars? Yeah, may the Force eat my ass.
