Revocation Have Us Seeing Red with “Nihilistic Violence”

0

Anyone else playing the hell out of their copy of Revocation‘s Netherheaven? We at MetalSucks can’t stop blasting it as loud as we can. And while the whole thing a killer, the band’s rebuttal to far-right extremism and the January 6 riots, “Nihilistic Violence,” is a big reason why.

Earlier this week the band put out a scarlet-tinged music video for the song, which you should absolutely watch below. Revocation frontman Dave Davidson said the music video was made specifically to match the song’s aggression.

“‘Nihilistic Violence’ is probably the meanest song we’ve ever recorded. It’s got a dark and menacing quality to it that the MyGoodEye production team perfectly captured for our latest music video. Bring your hardhats to the pit for this one because shit’s gonna get rowdy.”

Netherheaven is currently out via Metal Blade Records and available wherever you get your music.

As for Revocation itself, the band is currently out for a North American headlining tour with Krisiun, Alluvial, and Inoculation as support. Then at the turn of the new year they will head over to Europe for another set of headliner dates featuring special guests Goatwhore, Alluvial, and Creeping Death. See below for tour dates.
