Of Course Jonathan Davis’ Newly Launching Pet Brand is Called “Freak on a Leash”

You gotta give it to Korn frontman Jonathan Davis and his newly announced entry into the pet supply market – the dude knows how to brand his shit. I mean, what other Korn-based name would you expect for a pet brand other than “Freak on a Leash,” you’d be buying a leash to keep your dog from “Falling Away From” you, since you want them to be “Here to Stay.” Maybe if the line were lizard-focused you could name it “A.D.I.D.A.S.” or “All Day I Dream About Salamanders.”

Regardless of the branding options, Davis said the point was to create unique pieces that give some added form and function.

“These premium products are created for all, paying homage to the horror and rock music we love. This first collection, designed exclusively by me, contains all custom products made with high-quality gunmetal hardware, leather, nylon, and plushies that will set your pet apart from the pack.”

Though the official line of pet items don’t go on sale until October 28 worldwide, attendees at the Aftershock festival in Sacramento, California will be able to get their hands on the merchandise then. To even further sweeten the proposition, the first 100 fans to buy some of Davis’ pet items from the Take Me Home tent will get a wristband to be able to meet the singer in person from 3 to 5 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds generated at the festival, as well as the Freak on a Leash online store during launch, will go to the Take Me Home charity.

If you’re interested in this sort of thing, hit up the Freak on a Leash website to find out more about the products that will be available, as well as when they’ll be available to the public.
