Pantera Announces First European Tour Dates

0

For the first time since the announcement that Pantera in its current form would be hitting the stage once again, we’ve got the first European tour dates officially on the books.

Just moments ago, the band’s social media pages announced that Phil Anselmo, Rex Brown, Zakk Wylde, and Charlie Benante would take their show to next year’s Rock am Ring in Nürburgring, Germany and Rock im Park in Nürnberg, Germany. The two shows will take place on June 2 to June 4, 2023. Tickets are currently available.

Both festivals are major stops on the European circuit, so it shouldn’t be a stretch to expect Pantera to make an announcement that they’ll end up playing Download, Wacken, and/or some combination of other festivals as well.

We’ve known for a while now that the 2022 iteration of Pantera would be getting things started by playing a string of dates in South America and Mexico at the end of this year, but U.S. and Canadian fans are still left wondering when dates in their area will be announced.

Given the fact that Anthrax and Black Label Society will be on tour across the U.S. for 24-dates through January and February, I wouldn’t expect any additional Pantera dates to take place until at least mid-March or April at the latest.
