Corrosion of Conformity to Take Their Southern-Fried Stoner Metal Across the Pond this May
Groove wizards and riff maestros Corrosion of Conformity will be hitting the road once again in the coming months, this time bringin’ their special brand of groove-laden jams to Europe for a three-week excursion.
Starting on May 1 in Dublin, Ireland and coming to an end on May 21 in Brussels, Belguim, COC will be hitting a number of venues along the way. Baked into their itinerary will be special performances at Desertfest London, Desertfest Berlin and Soulstone Gathering in Krakow, Poland.
As you may or may not remember, COC is currently working on new material for their forthcoming follow-up to 2018’s No Cross No Crown. Recently, the band posted a video on its Instagram of frontman Pepper Keenan jamming with drummer Stanton Moore with the caption “Tune writing sessions before the Spring UK/Euro Tour!!” Stanton Moore’s involvement in the band was revealed by Mike Dean during an interview back in November, stating that he’s at least going to be involved in the new record and possible some touring dates as well.
“Yeah, man. That’s true; I think we will be working with Stanton again. So, history repeats itself all these years later; Stanton played on In the Arms of God, and I think he’s going to be working with us again for the next record. Having him aboard, I think you need to get a little nerdy to describe it because Stanton has got his own particular way that he wants to play.”
