Fear Factory’s First Show with New Singer Canceled for Weather, Tour to Start Tonight

0

The quest for a new Fear Factory singer is the gift that keeps on giving, at least if you’re the daily news writer for a metal music website. After a long and oft-delayed quest to find a new singer, who they found in relative unknown Milo Silvestro, the band were set to begin their tour with Static X on Saturday night, February 25. Alas, shitty weather conditions prevailed and the bands were forced to cancel the San Francisco show, according to a Facebook post:

“Due to extreme weather conditions here in California, Fear Factory will not make the first show on the Rise Of The Machine tour at the Fillmore in San Francisco.”

“We tried everything we could but the California Highway Patrol did not permit anyone from driving through the Grape Vine Tejón Pass on the I-5 freeway for safety reasons.”

“We apologize to anyone who bought tickets to see us but I promise, we will be back.”

Fear Factory will kick off the tour properly tonight in Portland. Check out the full itinerary below.
