Moments ago, organizers for the annual Louder Than Life Festival revealed the full lineup of bands expected to take the st age in Louisville this September 21 to September 24. Major acts like Foo Fighters, Pantera, Megadeth, and more will stand at the top of the bill with more than 100 acts on five stages.

Hosted by Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin, this year’s Louder Than Life apparently features the largest number of fan-requested acts compared to past years. Danny Wimmer, the founder of the festival’s production company Danny Wimmer Presents, said that kind of fan interaction “is so special.”

Those festival days are extremely important to the local economy as well, as Cleo Battle, president and CEO of Louisville Tourism said the weekend will be a major boost to local businesses.

“Louder Than Life always delivers a huge weekend and is one of the top economic events annually for Louisville, further cementing the city as a top destination for music festivals. Bourbon City loves welcoming fans for America’s Biggest Rock Festival, inviting them to experience the city’s Southern hospitality, area attractions and of course urban bourbon experiences. We’ve seen this weekend continue to grow throughout the longtime partnership with festival organizers Danny Wimmer Presents and look forward to celebrating our ninth year hosting Louder Than Life this September.”

Single day and weekend general admission tickets, as well as VIP passes, are available right now at the Louder Than Life Festival website. If you’re inclined to camp at the event instead of paying for a hotel room and travel, those passes are also available.
