Mastodon Drummer Brann Dailor to Fill-in at Late Night with Seth Meyers

0

One of metal’s more technically proficient drummers will once again get some face time on national television, as Mastodon’s Brann Dailor is expected to get behind the kit for the 8G Band on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

From April 3 to April 6, Dailor will help the band play host Seth Meyers into and out of commercials, as well as potentially get involved in the show through jokes or sketches. Dailor announced his upcoming appearances on the show on his Instagram, urging everyone to “stay up past your bedtime” to catch him on the show.

Excited to be joining my pals in the @8gband all next week on @latenightseth stay up past your bedtime with us, you know you want to.

This won’t be the first time Dailor’s participated in the late night talk show, having played for the 8G Band once before back in 2016. During that stint, he helped Savion Glover do some tap dancing and even called Meyers a bitch. Fun.

While you can catch him on the late night show, you can also see him and the rest of Mastodon tear it up live next month when they start the first leg of their Mega Monsters Tour with Gojira and Lorna Shore. The full list of dates are available below.
