Static-X and Sevendust to Co-Headline a Tour This Fall Like It’s 1999

0

For the first time in more than 20 years, Sevendust, Static-X, and Dope are going to share the same stage for an upcoming tour across the U.S.

Named after the two band’s albums Machine (Static-X) and Sevendust’s Truth Killer, the 21-date tour is going to kick off on October 6 in Houston, Texas and come to an end on November 1 in Los Angeles, California. Providing support for the run will be rock band Lines of Loyalty.

Static-X frontman Xer0 said the band was excited to bring the show to fans, as there are plans in place to make the show even more bombastic.

“We are excited to bring the fans an even bigger and better show than the last one. We are already building the new production elements and we intend to blow the roofs off of these venues each night.”

Similarly, Sevendust frontman Lajon Witherspoon looked back on their kinship with Static-X and Dope over the years.

“We can’t wait to hit the road with our friends in Static-X and Dope. It has been 24 years since the last time we have shared a stage with those guys. We can’t wait to do it again this Fall and to bring together all of our family members together in one place.”

Tickets will go on sale for the general public on Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. local. Be sure to check out the full list of dates below.
