Decibel Metal & Beer Fest Denver to Feature Agalloch, Khemmis, KEN Mode, and More

As metal fans, we’re spoiled rotten when it comes to absolutely sick festivals that are coming up in the next few months. From Heavy Chicago and Code’s World to the Metal Injection Festival, there are lots of opportunities to see some killer lineups live.

Earlier today, Decibel announced their Metal & Beer Fest in Denver and the lineup is particularly cool. Taking place December 1 and 2 at the Summit, the festival will feature bands from a wide range of metal subgenres. Case and point: the first night will be closed out by Khemmis, while Agalloch will play their second U.S. show in several years to close out the second night.

Local brewing company TRVE Brewing are the presenting brewery for this year’s festival, with the following featured breweries also involved: Black Sky Brewery (CO), 3 Floyds Brewing (IN), Brimming Horn Meadery (DE), Bone Up Brewing (MA), Wake Brewing (IL), Kings County Brewers Collective (NY), WarPigs Brewing (IN), Soundgrowler Brewing Co. (IL), Adroit Theory (VA), Magnanimous Brewing (FL), and Little Cottage (GA).

TRVE Brewing founder and co-owner Nick Nunns said he’s stoked to be involved.

“We’re beyond pumped that Decibel’s Metal & Beer Fest is returning to Denver. We can’t wait to give the breweries, bands, and mile-high maniacs another ripping weekend of crushing beers and banging heads!”
