You Can’t Get High Off the Actual Pot Leaf Pressed Into This Special Vinyl Release from Sleep

Remember last year when stoner metal stalwarts Sleep teamed up with Third Man Records to release the insanely awesome Weedian Hi-Fi edition of Dopesmoker that had an actual cannabis leaf pressed into the vinyl? That shit was awesome as hell, wasn’t it? Well it was so well received that they’re doing it again, only this time it’s for a new pressing of their 2018 12-inch single Leagues Beneath.

Only this time, they’re calling it Leaves Beneath because, well, there’s a pot leaf pressed into this version. Unlike the last time they did this sort of thing, where the vinyl was a sweet looking cloudy vinyl pressing, this version is straight up clear so you can more easily see the seven-pointed pot leaf.

According to Three Man records, this pressing will be limited to 400 copies and will only be available at Third Man Records’ storefront in the Cass Corridor neighborhood of Detroit. The pressing will be on sale at 11 a.m. this Saturday, August 26, so if you’re in Michigan or willing to take a trip out for this sort of thing, then you know where to go.
