Tomb Mold to Digitally Drop Their Fourth Album The Enduring Spirit This Friday

0

This Friday’s already looking like it’s going to be absolutely stacked with killer new releases, but fuck it — let’s add another to the pile. After four years of not putting out any new full-length studio releases, Canada’s Tomb Mold is storming back this Friday with their fourth effort, The Enduring Spirit.

Available only digitally for the time being, the album is apparently an expansion on their sound in last year’s Aperture Of Body demo tape. Stuffed seven brand new tracks, The Enduring Spirit will also see a physical version get released by 20 Buck Spin on October 13.

The band had this to say about the new album:

“After three years spent spiraling in the cycle reincarnate necessity, a myriad of consciousness have now become one. Prolong the final death spiral of nature and dive into the gnashing current of The Enduring Spirit of Calamity.”

According to the band, the physical version of The Enduring Spirit will be available on CD, CS, and both LP and the label’s first picture disc LP ever. Both vinyl releases will include a four-panel insert and a 36 by 24 inch poster.

To celebrate the release, Tomb Mold has since booked a pair of album release party shows in Canada. The first will be at Lee’s Place in Toronto on September 15 with Undeath and Outer Heaven, while the second show will be at Foufounes Electriques on September 16 in Montreal. Outer Heaven and Serpent Corpse will be on hand for the second show.

The Enduring Spirit will release digitally this Friday via 20 Buck Spin, so you’ll be able to get it wherever you get your music online. As for the physical version, that one won’t be available for preorder until this Friday.

The Enduring Spirit Track Listing:

1. The Perfect Memory (Phantasm Of Aura)
2. Angelic Fabrications
3. Will Of Whispers
4. Fate’s Tangled Thread
