Darkest Hour, Zao, Escuela Grind and More to Play AURA Fest

Yet another kick ass festival has unveiled what they’ve got cooking for next year, as the folks behind AURA Fest have officially announced its confirmed lineup spread across two days this coming March.

Set to take place at the Southbound Brewery in Savannah, Georgia on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2, the festival’s lineup is comprised of two dozen diverse and heavy music acts from all over the place, including headliners Darkest Hour and Zao.

For those not in the know, AURA Fest initially started in 2000 at the American Legion in nearby beach town of Tybee Island. Since then, there have been over 10 festivals spanning three different cities in Georgia, each with a wide range of local, regional, and national underground rock and metal groups.

In addition to the festival’s full lineup announcement, organizers said attendees will be able to enjoy the culinary delicacies of local food trucks Bowtie Barbecue, Chazito’s, and Okan. Sure, those names might not sound like much to any outsider, but a quick glance at their menus and you’ll know those are some good eats.

In addition to the regular day tickets and weekend passes, priced at $50 and $98, respectively, organizers are offering a special VIP ticket for each day. VIP attendees will have to shell out $80 per day, but they’ll get to participate in a meet and greet with Zao on the first day and Darkest Hour on the second day. VIPs will also get a gift bag with an AURA Fest shirt and poster, a Blade and Bull Axe Throwing Gift Card, and a 15% discount at Southbound Taproom.

So yeah, it all looks like a hell of a weekend event that Georgians (and anyone else for that matter) should consider attending next March. Check out the full lineup listed below:
