Emmure Announce 2024 Australian Tour

0

One of metalcore’s more divisive acts out there, Emmure, just announced they will be taking to the stage in 2024 on a string of Australian dates following their first show since 2019 at Blue Ridge Rock Festival.

Supporting Emmure on these dates will be ten56 and Diamond Construct. Emmure released their 2020 album, Hindsight, and didn’t get to tour on it for obvious reasons, but now, it seems they are finally hitting the road.

Prior to Blue Ridge Rock fest, Emmure played their last show on December 2019 at the Regent Theatre in Los Angeles. The American metalcore band were initially formed in New Fairfield, Connecticut and then relocated to Queens, New York. They’ve put out eight albums over their career, starting in 2006 with their The Complete Guide to Needlework EP.

The band put most of their albums out with Victory Records, including Goodbye to the Gallows in 2007, The Respect Issue in 2008, Felony in 2009, Speaker of the Dead in 2011, Slave to the Game in 20212, and Eternal Enemies in 2014. In 2016, they signed with SharpTone and dropped look at Yourself and Hindsight in 2017.

Vocalist Frankie Palmeri is the only original member of the band now, and is somewhat a controversial figure with a bold personality. What else the band are up to, and whether there will be more music and more shows, remains to be seen, but for now, we know touring is back on the table.

The announced Australian dates are as follows:

2/16 Perth, AUS – Amplifier Bar
2/17 Adelaide, AUS – Lion Arts Factory
2/18 Melbourne, AUS – Max Watts
2/22 Newcastle, AUS – Newcastle Hotel
2/23 Sydney, AUS – Factory Theatre
2/25 Brisbane, AUS – Cvlt Fest
