Orange Goblin to Release Music in 2024

0

The Goblin’s back in town—or at least they will be soon. Orange Goblin just announced they are in the studio working on a new record.

Earlier this month, the band announced they were in the studio in the U.K. working on their untitled, 10th studio album, the follow-up to their 2018 record The Wolf Bites Back. It’s their first record for their new label, Peaceville Records.

Now they have dropped a new update via socials:

“The band are now two days into recording the new album at a great, residential studio in Oxfordshire, England. Drums and bass tracks for 4 songs are already complete, a few guitar tracks are done and other bits and pieces have been laid down. There are 6 more songs to do over the next few days / weeks before we wrap everything up by mid-December and deliver the album to the label. We are hoping for a May 2024 release.”

So there you have it—We should have some new music soon. And in the meantime, they will also be playing some shows, assumably rolling out the new material, on a Japan and Australia tour in April 2024, including an appearance in New Zealand. This is the band’s first time in Japan since 1999 and in Australia since Soundwave Festival in 2013.

So catch them on tour next year, and Goblin freaks—Make sure to look out for that forthcoming record.
