Killswitch Engage’s Adam Dutkiewicz and Howard Jones Getting Closer to Finishing Their Collab

0

A new collaborative project between Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and former Killswitch Engage vocalist Howard Jones is moving along, as both men recently shared updates on how things are going in the studio.

Referred to as the hashtag HOJOxADAMD in at least one social media post about the project, this has been the subject of previous hints, drops, and announcements as they work through the recording process together.

In his most recent update, which features both men cheesing it up for the camera, Jones said he was putting the finishing touches on the project’s vocals. As we all likely know, that part of the process is usually saved for closer to the end, so we could be getting ever so close to the official reveal of a song.

Back in August, Jones shared that they demoed 13 songs for the new project and were powering through recording, as they already had ten under their belt. They cryptically signed off with “more coming soon,” and he also made mention to one of his other projects.

Jones was the previous frontman of Killswitch Engage, and famously so, before leaving the band in 2012. The other project referenced in the post is his second album with fellow musician Jared Dines, titled SION. He claims that the demoing process for that record has already begun.

And on top of all that, Killswitch Engage themselves are also staying busy, as they’re slated to go on tour in Australia in September 2024 with Iron Maiden:

9/1 – RAC Arena, Perth – Aus
9/4 – Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide – Aus
9/6 – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne – Aus
9/10 – Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane – Aus
9/12 – Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney – Aus
9/16 – Spark Arena, Auckland – NZ
