Better Lovers Have More Than a Dozen New Tunes Written for Their Debut Album

0

Last April, former members of Every Time I Die, Fit for an Autopsy, and The Dillinger Escape Plan announced they were forming a brand new band called Better Lovers. Then they blew the doors off the place with the release of a couple singles that fucking killed. Now, after having already played a few shows here and there over the last few months, it sounds like they’re progressing nicely on their debut album.

The news comes from their Instagram account, where the band posted an update on how things are going with their work on the so far unnamed album.

“Don’t text and drive, chew your food thoroughly, call the doctor for a check up… basically, do whatever it takes to make sure you’re alive when our debut full length is released later this year. In 2023 we surprised you with music a handful of times, but to do that with the sixteen new songs we’ve written would be unsafe. Preparation is necessary. Patience is appreciated. Ears are ringing. The parts are psychotic. The mood is immaculate. Chef Putney is cooking. Updates will be plentiful. Thank you for reading.

Big love, Better Lovers”

For those that don’t remember, Better Lovers is made up of Jordan Buckley, Clayton “Goose” Holyoak, Stephen Micciche, Will Putney, and Greg Puciato. To say that’s a potent lineup would be selling it massively short, as the singles so far have proven.

If you’re impatient and want to catch the band live, they have a North American headlining tour coming up with SeeYouSpaceCowboy, Foreign Hands, and Greyhaven as supporting acts. Be sure to check out the full list of dates and get your tickets today.
