Child Bite, Nest, Snafu to Open for the Upcoming Pantera and Lamb of God Tour
With the second leg of the Pantera and Lamb of God tour set to start next month, it seems like it was finally time to announce who’ll be the run’s supporting acts. And as it turns out, they’re all part of Phil Anselmo’s record label, Housecore Records.
According to organizers, the supporting acts will be St. Louis-based sludge/doom act NEST, Detroit-based noise rock/punk outfit Child Bite, and yet another Detroit-based band Snafu. Each band will perform on the tour for a set run of dates, so if you want to see one over the other, you better hope they end up playing near you.
Last year’s Pantera/Lamb of God tour was a good time. Is Pantera in its current form as good as it used to be with the Abbott brothers? Fuck no. But if you’re able to suspend your disbelief and just give in to the tunes, it’s actually not a bad time.
