The Obsessed Announce U.S. Tour with Howling Giant and Gozu

0

The Obsessed are hitting the road this March alongside other doom monstrosities Howling Giant and Gozu.

The tour will run from their first stop on March 13 in Philly and run all the way to April 12 in Brooklyn, with stops all over the U.S. in between. Naturally, the run of dates is slated to support The Obsessed’s forthcoming album Gilded Sorrow, which will release February 16 via Ripple Music. About what to expect on this new record, the band say:

“Adding Jason Taylor as second guitarist was one of the best decisions I’ve made because he’s a virtuoso guitar player and I must say he contributed quite a bit of good stuff to this record.

“I think [Gilded Sorrow] the heaviest thing I’ve ever done. Heavy in a sense as not just sludge heavy, but well-rounded. And it sounds fantastic. Everything I do with [producer] Frank Marchand gets better and better. He knows what the fuck he’s doing.”
