Say what you will about the Garden State, but New Jersey is one of the most metal states in the country. Everyone hates us, we hate everyone else, and if you talk shit about our home we’re liable to flip you off or fight you, depending on the day. So it’s no surprise that we’ve had some killer bands come out over the decades.

Last Friday, our state capitol Trenton was home to a killer basement show that featured some brutal death metal acts. Replicant, Dab Nebula, Keefchamber, Burrito Bowel, and A Plea For Power threw the fuck down in the Millhill Basement in what was being called “one of the most shocking and bizarre shows of the year.”

Luckily, our photographer Jess Ripper’s down to mix it up with the crustiest of Jersey’s metalheads and was there to get some great shots of the show. We’re incredibly lucky to have such talented people behind the camera just so you have something to look at.
