Relapse Records Reissued Revocation’s Releases

0

Fans of death metal badasses Revocation may want to pay attention to this one, as they’ve got as good a chance as any to pick up some of the band’s older material on vinyl for the first time in a long while.

Announced earlier today, Relapse Records revealed that they’re now selling Revocation’s 2009 to 2013 output on vinyl and CD. For those keeping score, that means Existence Is Futile, Chaos of Forms, and their Self-Titled, and the Teratogenesis EP can be yours right now. The offerings hadn’t been available for a while now, so this sudden reveal was an unexpected one, to say the least.

Revocation had been on Relapse Records until the release of their 2014 record, Deathless. Ever since, the band has been firmly in the Metal Blade Records camp.

Who knows? Maybe some of those tracks will make their way into the live set when Revocation goes on tour with Suffocation down in Australia for the ‘Hymns from The Apocrypha’ tour. The dates for that run can be found below.

4/18 – The Brightside – Brisbane, AUS
4/19 – Factory Theatre – Sydney, AUS
4/20 – The Basement – Canberra, AUS
4/21 – Corner Hotel – Melbourne, AUS
4/23 – Lion Arts Factory – Adelaide, AUS
4/25 – Valhalla – Wellington, NZ (no Revocation)
4/26 – Loons – Christchurch, NZ (no Revocation)
4/27 – Galatos – Auckland, NZ (no Revocation)
