Nita Strauss will Perform National Anthem at Busch Light Clash At The Coliseum
Look out NASCAR-loving metalheads — you’re in for a treat, as Nita Strauss will be performing the U.S. National Anthem at the 2024 Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum on Sunday, February 4 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Originally beloved for her role as Alice Cooper‘s guitarist, Strauss has struck out on her own to forge a successful solo career. Ben Kennedy, NASCAR senior vice president, racing development and strategy, said having Strauss kick things off made perfect sense.
“Nita Strauss can excite a crowd like no other. Her mastery on the guitar will invigorate everyone in attendance, and we’re thrilled to have her play to our fans before the Busch Light Clash.”
The performance will also air live on Fox at 5 p.m. PST/ 8 p.m. EST.
Strauss is currently touring in support of her latest album, The Call Of The Void, out now. The album features guest spots from Alice Cooper, Lzzy Hale, Alissa White-Gluz, Dorothy, Chris Motionless, and guitar legend Marty Friedman. She is currently on tour with MAMMOTH WVH.
