Periphery Unveil a Short Run of North American Shows This May

0

They may have gone on record last March about djent not being a genre with their latest studio effort Periphery V: Djent Is Not A Genre, but apparently some Periphery fans didn’t get the memo. Apparently some people are still confused about this whole thing, so the dudes in Periphery are going back out on the road for a limited run this May to remind some folks.

Set to kick off on May 8 in Asheville, North Carolina and coming to an end on May 18 in New York City, the band will make a total of eight stops for ‘The Wildfire Tour ’24’. Opening for the band will be Eidola and Periphery guitarist Jake Bowen, who will be pulling double duty by playing select songs from his solo albums.

If you’ve been keeping score, then you’ll notice that the dates below are locations that Periphery hasn’t played any live shows since Djent Is Not A Genre came out, so that might be why people are still unclear about djent’s status.

Tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m. local time, so check out the full list of dates below to see if Periphery will be hitting a venue near you.
