From a Second Story Window Release First New Song in Over 15 Years

Ohio metalcore band From a Second Story Window have been doing a lot of things for the first time in 15 years. First they announced their reunion after 15 years, then they played their first show in 15 years. These poor guys can’t jerk off without someone pointing out it’s the first time they’ve done it in 15 years. Not saying that it’s been 15 years since they’ve done that. At least I hope not.

No, the newest news is that FASSW released their first new song in 15 years called “So Say We All.” That title probably does mark the first time that anyone has made a reference to that Battlestar Galactica reboot in about 15 years now. Man, that finale episode was awful. The band have had three different vocalists over the course of their career as a band, but the new single features Will Jackson, their vocalist at the time of their breakup in 2008 who is also the vocalist for both of the band’s LPs.

The band posted the new song to Instagram with the following caption:

“Our new single ‘So Say We All’ is OUT NOW on all streaming platforms. This song marks our first release in nearly 16 years, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. Please share this post to help us spread the word, and let us know what you think in the comments!”

The band also posted a few weeks ago some behind-the-scenes footage from their four-day recording session at More Sound Recording Studio in Syracuse, New York so hopefully more than one single was produced during that recording time and we’ll be able to hear more long-overdue work from the band. So say we all.
