Unearth Will Play All of The Oncoming Storm at Special June Show

0

Fuck, we’re getting old. This June, Unearth are going to perform the entirety of The Oncoming Storm to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Two decades. 7,300 days. I mean, some of us were in high school when that dropped. Some of you might not have even been born.

Apart from the existential dread this announcement’s given me, it’s looking like the show’s going to be a must-attend. According to a social media post by the band, they’ll be playing on June 15 for an all ages show at Big Night Live in Boston, Massachusetts.

“On June 15th we will celebrate 20 years of our album The Oncoming Storm at Storm Fest by playing the record in its entirety, along with select songs from our catalog. Joining us on this monster gig at Big Night Live will be some of our greatest friends and biggest influences in the Metal and Hardcore scenes.

“We are happy to welcome Bleeding Through, Overcast, Fuming Mouth, All Out War, Apes (and one TBA) to our first All Ages gig in the city of Boston in 21 years. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, March 26, at 11am EST at Unearthofficial.com”

You read that right. Along with Unearth, the show will feature sets from Bleeding Through, Fuming Mouth, All Out War, Apes, Overcast, and an unnamed band.

Overcast and Shadows Fall vocalist Brian Fair said he was extremely stoked to hit the stage in support of his friends in Unearth.

“Very excited to announce that Overcast will joining our good friend in Unearth to celebrate 20 years of The Oncoming Storm! Overcast has not played a ‘home town’ show in Boston in forever. Can’t think of a better party to come back for than this. Joining this rager will be Bleeding Through Fuming Mouth, All Out War and more to be announced. Can not wait. Boston Devilcore in the house!!”

Tickets for the show will go live tomorrow at 11 a.m. EST.
